The Operations Coordinator creates and maintains a welcoming, organized, and mission-aligned environment at Storyhill Church. The Coordinator will lead and support the core hospitality teams (Greeters, Coffee Bar Team, and Parking Team) and will develop other team leaders, equip team members, and identify areas to improve in the hospitality environment. As Storyhill continues to grow, this role will develop and incorporate volunteer involvement into special events and routine rhythms of building use. The Operations Coordinator will support current team expansion and help launch new teams so that the building continues to be a welcoming environment and a tool for ministry.

This position will support the Small Groups Director in leading the Grow Together foundational practice of Storyhill Church. This involves helping the Storyhill church family engage in smaller groups and Bible studies where spiritual growth and care happen beyond the corporate “worship together” gathering. This position is ideally suited for a person with organizational, administrative, and process skills, combined with a deep heart to collaborate and to relationally serve the congregation. This position will also work in partnership with the Coordinator of Connection and Care. Candidates for the position must be available to work evenings and weekends (especially for special events and retreats).

The Connection & Care Coordinator will support the Director of Small Groups in leading the Grow Together foundational practice of the church—helping the Storyhill Church family engage in smaller groups and Bible studies where spiritual growth and care happen beyond the corporate “Worship Together” weekly gathering. While Storyhill Church has developed a framework where community care happens primarily through small groups, even a healthy community structure needs support when acute needs and marking moments unfold. As such, the Connection & Care Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for supporting and complementing the existing Care philosophy while collaborating with the Director of Small Groups to build out a care strategy to meet the ongoing needs of our growing church. This position is ideally suited for an organized, systems and process-minded leader with a deep passion for pursuing people and connecting them to the life of the church, while also being ready to provide care and support when acute needs and marking life moments arise.
