Serve Within Storyhill
We All Have Something to Give
As we are filled up by the grace and truth of God’s love, we are able to pour out love by serving those who walk through the doors of the church. We have teams of people who serve through playing music, welcoming others with a smile, investing in the lives of young people, setting up chairs, delivering meals, and much more.
Kids
Our Kids ministry seeks to partner with parents in the spiritual development of their children – to love kids as they discover and live out their role in God’s story. This happens through the service and ministry of our kids volunteers who tell stories, sing songs, hold babies, and most importantly care for our kids! *Everyone 18+ who works with our children must pass a background check.
Youth
Our mission is simply to “love teenagers as they discover and live out their role in God’s story.” We believe their relationships with their leaders, their peers and the extended family of Storyhill are all valuable to a foundation of mature faith. There are both short and long term commitments with Youth – we’d love to talk more about how you can meaningfully serve! *Everyone 18+ who works with our children must pass a background check.
Worship & Arts
The worship & arts teams employ a variety of creative elements like imagery, sound, voice, and more to foster a worshipful atmosphere in our church. Beyond Sunday mornings, they also explore and refine skills and ideas throughout the week to craft compelling worship environments.
Hospitality
Rooted in the gratitude of God’s goodness towards us, we find ways to welcome, encourage, recognize, and care for those around us. Our hospitality teams serve in a wide range of ways, from setting up chairs on Sunday mornings to making and delivering meals to families welcoming babies, and everything in between!
Communications
Our church embraces inviting people into God's story and worshiping freely. Recognizing the avenues the Lord has provided for communication, our dedicated team ensures easy access to church updates and community happenings through platforms like Sunday livestreams, social media, and website development.
Prayer
Our efforts are nothing without the redeeming power of our Lord, and He has made it quite clear that 'asking' of Him is a good thing! These inconspicuous volunteers pray through our corporate worship times on Sunday mornings and intercede for our people during the week.
Anywhere
There are always specific and critical needs that pop up, both among the groups mentioned above and in ways we can’t anticipate. We’d love to talk more about how you can contribute to the ministry of the church.
Safety + Aid
The Safety and Aid team is committed to the wellness and welfare of our community with a proactive presence within Storyhill. Our goal is to maintain and nurture a safe environment with prevention training and awareness. There is a big need for people to serve on this team.
