christmas meal packing

This year, our Christmas mission was to pack meals for Western NC. On Saturday, December 21, sixty people from Storyhill packed meals with Lifeline Christian Mission in Concord, NC. We were able to pack almost 10,000 meals! These dry food meals will be able to help our neighbors in Western NC get through the winter as each one contains about 75% of a person’s daily nutritional needs. Our team that packed meals had a lot of fun, and there was something for everyone. We are grateful to Lifeline for opening up their center to us and teaching us about the impact of these meals on a person’s life.

Thanks to many generous contributions, we raised $5,194 for WNC. Of that total, $3,312 went to cover the cost of the meals. The remaining $1,882 will go towards continued ministry in Western NC.
