How to Study the Bible | Session 5 of 5

  • Moy Hall | Cotton Mill 209 Delburg Street Davidson, NC, 28036 United States (map)

July 10 (intro) + July 17 + July 24 + July 31 + August 7 at 7:00 PM | Led by: Amy Gallagher

The truth is that starting to study the Bible can feel daunting. Jesus promises us that the Bible has life-giving words and wisdom for how to live a life that is marked by Joy, filled with Strength, and led by His wisdom. There is more to this living faith than "trying to earn God'sfavor." You can have a daily, life-giving relationship with God through the Bible.

We will discuss how one can grasp a passage's meaning instead of simply reading it. How is one to approach different types of literature in the Bible? Where can one go when they don't understand a passage? And much more! But where do you begin?

Join us for this study that will introduce you to tools to help you know how to begin as you dive into scripture. In week one, we will overview a specific Bible study method. We will learn different Bible study tools that anyone can utilize and share ideas for where to begin studying the Bible. Those interested in learning more can participate together for the next four weeks, using these Bible study skills throughout scripture. Please feel free to attend week one, all, or some meetings.
