Alongside Families has a long history of partnering with churches to provide a caring support system for families in crisis in the Charlotte area. Sometimes it's an emergency where a relationally isolated parent may lose their child to foster care without some temporary help (such as in a hospitalization), or sometimes, it's simply an overwhelmed single mom needing a weekend break, a listening ear, and friends who care. ​​​​​​​​

Storyhill is an Alongside Families partnering church, so we are hosting an interest meeting on Sunday, September 10th, at 12:15 in the YMCA conference room. Current host families and staff from AF will be there to share how our church family can help provide stability and hope for struggling families in the Charlotte area through various large and small roles and resources.​​​​​​​​
