August 2023 is an important transition point in the life of Storyhill. Michael is back from sabbatical, we will turn 12 years old, and our exciting future will feel real (as dirt is moving). Accordingly, we will take three weeks for some vision-casting to focus on some of our church's WHYs. Church is a team sport, not a one-person show. We have seen that clearly throughout the first 12 years, and we will need that to continue to be true as we walk into the future.

Everyone at Storyhill is here to receive something, AND everyone at Storyhill also has something to contribute. By finding our way to serve, as we find a way to give, as we invite one more person to find hope in Jesus and to join us in community, we make Storyhill more of who God wants us to be. We are a family held together by deep calling and deep love. We are a team on which everyone has a part to play.

Over these three weeks, we will emphasize things that hold our team together, specifically commitments, communion, and community. And we will invite people to be more meaningfully involved as we continue to move forward, in Jesus' name.
