Join us for a fall weekend of fellowship and worship at the new Cain Center for the Arts in the heart of downtown Cornelius. This beautiful, state-of-the-art facility will be an excellent backdrop to our time with other women in our community and, most importantly, our time with the Lord in His Word.

This local retreat will allow us to sink into moments of worship, be enveloped with Scripture, spend focused time in prayer, and join with one another in community, which will undoubtedly involve lots of laughter and FOOD! 

Speaking of food...Friday, dinner will be provided, and Saturday, we will begin our day with a light breakfast, and then lunch will be provided in the afternoon. 

We invite any woman, 18 or older, who is cautious, curious, or committed to Jesus. Come for one day or the whole weekend - whatever suits your desire and availability!

SPEAKER | Heidi Karant

Heidi is a Davidson resident, wife to John, and mother to three almost-grown young women. Her family came to Storyhill nearly two years ago to be part of a community within Davidson that would offer her kids a safe place to love God, love people, and keep Christ at the center.

She is a pediatric occupational therapist and loves that her job involves playing with babies, food, and coloring. It also doesn’t hurt that her profession requires a lot of snuggles, either. 

In addition to being an OT, Heidi has been teaching Bible Studies through her local church and neighborhood for over twenty years. She enjoys digging deeper to learn more about God’s Word and is passionate about sharing that depth with others. Her heart is to walk alongside women as they balance the truth of God’s character with the reality of life. 

Although Heidi and her husband are getting close to being empty nesters, that is not stopping them from planning to travel and adventure together. Additionally, Heidi is preparing to return to school for a Master’s in Theology. So stay tuned!
